My friends and I recently decided to join a research project, and is reading relevant papers to structure a proposal.
Since it is a rush decision, we don\’t have that much time to prepare for it. We have had the idea for a while, but our idea of focus by then is on the general viewpoint of the whole project instead of the specific technical details involved. Actually, when we were generating out ideas, we only made it logical, and have never thought of implementing the whole things one day.
And after my research for the whole after noon and evening, I think that, we are in great trouble. I think I have put myself into a position very similar to my previous internship, that I will learn a lot through the process but will also make myself super exhausted as well.
I am willing to take that challenge. It\’s trying a new things though. At first, I thought research would be a really boring thing to do, and you could never really know where you are going, but actually, we have a quite specific objective, and some approach that we could take. That reshaped my perception of research project, I am not that negative towards it as I used to be.
I don\’t think we are off a good start, we kick start at a late stage, but will try our best to catch up and behave.
