Startup pitching workshop

I have met great people there, and have leanred a lot from the event.

I meet like-minded, interesting, energetic and cute people. We made a great team together, and while another group is presenting their ideas, I am sorry to say that, but it is really like some kind of bullshit, so we give up paying attention and started chatting. We had a great conversation, in depth, and cover a lot of topics as well. It\’s so great to get to know them all.

Some key points I have learned today:

A) 95% startup fail because they lose control of the cost, the rest mostly failed because people problem

B) A great idea is to shift the idustry and to break the current industry chain.

For example, the relationships between OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer), store and customer. The current situation is that all the product will be at the store, they will need a warehouse or something like that, and are fully responsible of selling the goods they have ordered. If customization is introduced and then the balance now will be broke. The stress will be hand over to the OEM\’s and the store will only serve as a connection in between, nothing need to be stored anymore if the product is unqickly designed based on customers\’ need.

C) SMART Matrix provides a process to review how actions are being implemented around various attributes.

SMART stands for specific, measurable, attainable, resources, and time.
