Teaching, sharing knowledge

It is important to be the best in the industry, that you and only you could achieve something that others could only look up to you but couldn\’t even enter the competition with you. But it is also very important to spread your own knoeledge. The more people who get to know the technology, the more flexibility you will have. You can always free yourself to something more interesting and chanllenging, rather than being \’the one\’ and stuck in a certain position forever.

That is also the reason why I have decided to start a part time job as a teacher or something next semeter. It is definilty part of my plan, and I am more than willing to see it happen. There are some opportunities offered by a teacher that I like, and I am contacting him for the position lately. Another motivation is that I would like to take some opportunities that would allow me to speak more, as speaking and expressing ideas in a more clear and organized manner is my current weakness.

I know I do have some ideas sometimes, and I know that if I am given some time, I will be able to get it out and deliver the message sufficiently. But, it is more often the case that I am not given time, the topic changes quickly, or there is simply no time for people to prepare anything, and in those cases, I suck at speaking. I could do daily chatty, but it is still hard for me to talk very seriously about something in a full logic. And it takes practice, but there are very few opportunities to do so in real-world situations.

I could potentially continue to attend events and things like this, but it would take longer and there are better people on the team who would take the opportunity to improve themselves further, while I would have very few opportunities to make my own improvements. In short, I think it is doable, but slow.

Teaching is the best thing I can think of that fits my needs. I could learn something during the process, and I will be constanly explaining things to prople who are not as smart as I am and who barely knows anything about the subject, which is scarcastically, just like real life cases. To get them to understand me, to understand the logic, to understand the knowledge. That\’s what I am aiming for.

Honestly, when I first started university, I swore I would never do teaching, and now it\’s been two years and I\’ve completely changed my mind. I guess that\’s how time changes people. Hopefully I\’ll get that chance!

Best wishes.
