I really value this experience. It really changed some of my opinions. I think the majority of the participants in the class are of similar age to mine or slightly younger.
There\’s the girl who is constantly greeting others with nice waving. Yet, she becomes quiet and cautious when drawing. It\’s so cute of her to change to a different finger for applying different colors.
There\’s the boy who takes everything as a game and loves playing around. He is smart, and he is creative. And I could tell that he is happy with the games he is playing to himself though he has been told not to.
And there\’s the girl who is caring for others. She is so thoughtful and sweet. I have seen her helping the one sitting next to her. And I like her ways of proudly showing the teacher the work she has done.
And the guy who cannot focus on things for a long time and keeps saying things. He is kind and he knows a lot of things. He could help with the teacher sometimes. And I am so impressed that the teacher has actually got a way to cool him down.
They all left me with such a strong impression that I still could recall the very moments that day. But I personally don\’t trust my memory, and I am writing them down hoping those memories would never fade away.
I am also impressed by the teacher, the way she is handling all kinds of poping situations, and the way she is guiding them patiently. I also love the smile she has when she is \’complaining\’ about her husband for not being helpful. I like her love for the kids and the fact that she is actually making her own effort to help.
And when I am getting out of the building, I am in the same elevator with one of the kids. He is playing a shooting game with a middle-aged foreigner. They are both happy and they laugh together. That scene is so heartwarming.
Words fail to describe everything I experienced that day. I am grateful that I got the chance to help them. And I will keep this lesson I learned that day in my heart forever.
