When I am chatting with some friends lately about our future path, everything from what are we going to study in the future, what are we going to do after graduation, and what is our plan for the further future.
What I want to say is, don\’t fall into the trap of an easy and ordinary path. Don\’t plan your future simply because the rest is planning the same or the similar. I am not judging them, but I don\’t believe that people\’s diversity is this limited.
At the very beginning of my university life, I learned the story of some graduate students who dared to take more risks and achieved impressive things. And at the very beginning of this semester, I was told that, at this time of my life, I should just do everything I want first, and apologies if things go wrong. And it is so true. I have also learned that when you want to start doing something, take an easy start, don\’t dream of becoming successful in a very short time, yet, enjoy the pleasure in the process. Just take a step first, no matter if it is an awful one, at least it is a start, it is you started to do something, and that means a lot.
We are at a stage of life where we could easily fail, but we are also at a stage of life where we can learn the most from our failures and start over with those lessons. Just try whatever you want whenever you want it. That\’s YOUTH.
