2022 Wrap-up

Overall

Making this list made me feel so proud of myself. I have realized how much I\’ve achieved this year, and I\’m really looking forward to the year to come with amazing chapters ahead.

Mentally(&decisions)

Mindset. I was lost at the beginning of the year, in sorrow and in great pain. Around May, I suddenly came to my senses, and I gave up caring about a lot of emotionally consuming but less meaningful things. I become more determined to believe in myself and a lot more mature. I believed more in my own thoughts, more in my choices and decisions, and more in my future. I know how to cope with situations better and know how to deal with things better.

Started to be really serious about learning German. It was actually a sequence for me to figure out what I really wanted in life. Learning German is definitely in my plans, so I\’m putting a lot more priority on it. Instead of just taking it as a hobby or interest, I now see it as part of my future life, and I\’m more willing to dedicate myself to it and spend more time and effort.

Having build up this website. I was writing thing that was in my mind from time to time, so I\’m like, why not take it a little more seriously and started my own website for things I want to write about? Besides, a lot of people and books talks that how a daily journal would change life and build up confidence, and having pen pals made me realize that it was possible for me to write something every day and not be overwhelmed by it. So, here comes this site, here comes the posts. And there will definitely be more.// I have been running this website for around a month now, I sometimes struggled, but mostly, I enjoyed. There are a lot of things I have thoughts on, and it is so great that I am creating myself this opportunity to take them down.// I really love it. I would say that having started this website is the best big decision I have made this year.

Physically

Exercised. Although I don\’t exercise quite often now, I swim for three to four times a week in summer. I\’m trying to walk more now instead of taking public transportation. Does that count as exercise? Then I\’m exercising every day! LOL.

Good daily routine. I used to to to bed at 3am and get up at around 11am. Now I go to bed at 1am and gets up at 9am, that\’s a big step!

Good eating habit. I am eating more vegetables and less fast food. I am also starting my days with an egg.

I got my first Tattoo!!!!!! I love it so much!!!!!! It brought me back to life and makes me fearless. It gives me strength and gives me courage. I love it, can\’t love it more. I don\’t think I am ready to talk about it in details yet, but I will someday.
