Limits

Recently, I was considering some engineering ideas for an English course proposal. I came up with some ideas and then dropped them because I found them impossible to operate and there would be some technical, privacy, or all sorts of practical issues.

There are some simple features that are actually very complex to implement technically. Some of the functions don\’t exist because no one thought of it, and some simply because the efforts made don\’t match the results.

But there are also cases where a solution already exists, but I need to struggle to find it because I don\’t know what words to use to search for it. Or the existing solution is based on something so complex that I have difficulty understanding it. Either way, the limit of my knowledge is limiting my ideas.

Learning is such a long process that I can\’t master everything all at once. I had some baby steps, some sense of gain and growth, but it is still annoying when I come across something that I just couldn\’t understand.

My limits are infinite, and hopefully, I am surpassing them bit by bit each day. There will still be many things that I cannot understand, but one thing for sure, I will be capable of understanding more.

  1. I often have this issue aswell so when i talk with someone about a very specific topic that interests me, i ask them to give me the english definition of it so i can research it online. Usually teachers know that stuff very well. Also asking around on a forum is a good idea.
