Losing everything but don\’t lose people

I have seen this trend due to some recent happenings and I am part of it. It\’s about what\’s happening in the office, most of us are planning to leave at the end of our contracts, and those who were not leaving have changed their minds. So, it seems to me that most of the people I work with will no longer be there after June, and by then, I will have left as well.

Through this, I have seen the importance of having people around and keeping it that way. Eventually, it\’s all about people, and it\’s people who keep things going.

One can never achieve great success just by themselves. Even if one person knows everything, it will take more time to get everything done. In fact, one cannot know everything and expertise everything, that\’s why having a team is crucial.

It\’s like entering the industrial age. Imagine the whole project as one giant gear. Before separating everything, another giant gear is needed to make the process work. But when different responsibilities are assigned to people so that they can focus on mastering one thing, each person becomes a small gear within the whole process. With the efforts of all, the whole process can run smoothly. Assume that the total workload of the project remains the same, the fewer gear there are, the more things a gear should handle. And now, those gears can choose to quit. This is what is happening in basically any business.

Losing everything but don\’t lose people. They are the key to everything.
