Something to gain and something to loss.

One cannot do everything they want. We don\’t have the time and energy for that. Assume that we are doing everything at full efficiency, which is, highly unlikely in real cases, the thing we want to do is far more than what we could actually handle. There are choices to made, something I choose to do, and something that I choose to give up doing. I gain from the things I choose to put my time and effort in, and with that, I loss the opportunity to get a taste on the things I no longer capable to do.

There\’s choice, and there will be balance. I have got some amazing opportunity lately. But I just couldn\’t decide. I have been busy and tired enough. So though I am interested in, I don\’t know if I could handle more.

To put it this way, when I am doing things, I know what I am doing. But in general, the way I am dealing with my study and work and life this semester, I really don\’t know, I get lost. I have put myself in a very difficult position.

A brief list of the things I am doing:

A) I am studying my subjects, got tests to prepare for and assignments to complete.

B) I am doing my internship, going to the office at least two weeks per day.

C) I got invitation from another organisation which I will be meeting one of the guys on next Sunday, and another invitation to get myself enrolled in a program.

D) I am in a competition which there is a workshop held on this Saturday, and been waiting for the result of another competition to come out.

Oh my. Just can\’t believe it. I really should learn to say no.

This is such a tough week for me. Survive it first, and then I could get some tiny little rest.

Have a nice day. And a nice week.

  1. Saying yes to everything clearly means you wanna invest in what you like to do. I don’t think that’s bad, no one succeeds without dropping a little sweat.

It also looks like a burnout is on the way, but these things come and go.
