Where ideas comes from

I\’ve been participating in many hackathons and competitions and funding schemes. The most critical and difficult part for me is generating ideas. I have participated in topics such as healthcare, fintech and many more. Normally, I only know the basics of the topic, and then I find it hard to come up with ideas. Meanwhile, my teammates are so familiar with the various mental and physical issues, or know so much about finance and accounting, that they know exactly what to do.

I used to think this was my problem, that I wasn\’t creative enough or \”innovative\” enough. Until recently, I participated in a hackathon about Web3, a field I was familiar with and had considerable knowledge of. And everything seemed to be running smoothly. When the topic was released and we had a rough direction that the team all agreed to work on, then it was pretty easy for me to come up with something. And we\’re now working on my solution. From that, I realized that when I know enough about an industry, I will be able to relate to many things and come up with a solution.

Ideas don\’t come out of nowhere, there is usually some sort of inspirational connection. And that inspiration comes from our background and knowledge, it comes with time, with age, and with everything that made us us.
